I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my dog, Poppy.

Poppy isn’t just my dog — she’s my family, my best friend , and my comfort on the hardest days. Recently, she was diagnosed with acute kidney failure, and our world was turned upside down in an instant.

Right now, Poppy needs to be hospitalized for about a week so her veterinary team can try to stabilize her with intensive IV fluids, medications, and 24/7 monitoring. The hope is that with aggressive treatment, her kidneys can recover enough for her to come home — but time is critical.

The estimated cost for her care is around $15,000, which includes hospitalization, diagnostics, medications, and supportive treatment. Despite doing everything I can, this is more than I’m able to handle on my own.

Asking for help like this is incredibly difficult, but I’m doing it because Poppy deserves a fighting chance. She still has so much love to give and so much life left to live. Every single donation — no matter the amount — will go directly toward her medical care and means more than I can put into words.
