Help Save Popcorn!!! (Bladder Stone Surgery)

Dear GoFundMe Community,

Grizelda Ambriz is my dear friend, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of her. 

Grizelda is the owner of Popcorn, a beautiful guinea pig. Grizelda was cleaning Popcorn's cage on October 19, when she noticed blood on his pads. He had no open wound, but when she took him to the vet the very next day, they discovered that he suffers from bladder stones. If Popcorn doesn't undergo surgery as soon as possible, he won't survive.

Popcorn's bladder surgery will cost a high total of $4,576.09. In addition to having already paid the costs for Popcorn's consultations, exams, x-rays, diagnostic profile, radiology, and cystocentesis, having found herself in this sudden financial situation has been extremely challenging, emotionally taxing, and difficult for Grizelda in her current situation, as she is currently in school and with outstanding student debt and household bills.

Any money raised will be used to pay for Popcorn's surgery costs. We understand that times are tough right now for everyone but hope that any help possible can contribute to getting his procedure done so that he can continue to be here with us and return to his goofy, fun-loving, and pain-free self. If you are unable to donate, it would mean so much if you would be able to share this story and send a prayer for Popcorn.

This is my first time ever creating a GoFundMe page, as this cause means a lot to Grizelda and me. Our hearts are broken from this sudden, unexpected news and it hurts us so much to see Popcorn in pain. I have seen Grizelda, who is a dedicated animal lover of over 20 years, love and cherish Popcorn for all the years she's been with him, and Popcorn means so much to her. Popcorn is family to Grizelda, and we won't give up on family.
