Good day everyone, my name is Vanessa and I've been a long time dedicated animal rescuer for quite a few years now. As of right now I take care of a colony of 11 cats including my own at home. This doesn't just include cats but I've been on many rescue missions among the wildlife as well. About three weeks ago, I rescued an eight month old black kitten I named Poe who is struggling with a severe respiratory or heart issue. This has caused me more stress on top of the daily tasks I already have to deal with day by day just trying to get him the proper help he deserves as he struggles to breathe and now even lost his appetite completely.

I have been to the vet, where he was given a convenia shot for a respiratory infection and though it did help at first, his health started to go downhill again as of recently, my vet recommended he see a cardiologist for further treatment. The soonest I can get him in is Tuesday, and the estimate for the visit is pricey for me to handle at this moment. If anyone would like to donate even $1 I would greatly appreciate the support in helping Poe get back on track again.
