Poe, my mom’s dog, is the most loving, carefree, and happy pup I’ve ever met. He’s only 2 years old and puts a smile on her face every day, helping her get through many recent hard times. Her dogs are her therapy, and Poe is her best friend. His sister Stella is also his protector and would be lost without him.

Recently, Poe ate three foreign objects that are now lodged in his stomach. The surgery to remove them is urgent and without it, Poe’s health is at serious risk. If Poe doesn’t get the surgery, the only option will be to put him down, which is the last thing we want. My mom would be devastated. This surgery will help Poe recover quickly and continue being the bright spot in my mom’s life, giving her the comfort and companionship she needs to cope with everything she’s been through.
