Poe has been a part of my life since 2018, when I adopted him as a tiny kitten from someone who didn't want him or his sister. From the very beginning, Poe has been a sweet, playful, and loving companion—a true little purr machine who brings so much joy to my days. He's always been an indoor-only cat, and I never imagined he would face such a serious health crisis.

Recently, Poe was diagnosed with Pyothorax, a severe infection in his chest that requires immediate medical attention. The veterinarians need to insert tubes to drain the pus, and there is a possibility that he may need open chest surgery if his condition doesn't improve. The costs for these treatments are overwhelming, and while I have always set aside funds to help rescue animals in need, those resources have now been completely used up. It's heartbreaking to see Poe in pain, and even more difficult to ask for help, but I know I can't do this alone.
