Plymouth Speedway needs your help. Without new safety fences, the Gladiators may not be able to race in 2027.

For generations, Plymouth Speedway has brought people together. The roar of the engines, the smell of methanol, the excitement of four riders battling shoulder to shoulder, and the unforgettable atmosphere at the Coliseum are all part of what makes our club special.

But right now, the future of speedway in Plymouth is under threat.

Why We Need Your Help

To continue racing in 2027, Plymouth Gladiators must invest in new safety air fences, essential equipment that helps protect riders and allows the club to meet the requirements for competitive speedway racing.

The cost is £46,000.

That's a huge amount for a club like ours, but with the support of our incredible speedway family, we believe it's achievable.

We face an urgent deadline. By 3 November 2026, we must confirm to the league that we are in a position to compete next season.

Without the necessary funding, the future of Plymouth Speedway is uncertain.

More Than Just a Speedway Club

Plymouth Speedway is more than a race track.

It's families spending evenings together, friendships formed on the terraces, volunteers giving their time, and generations of supporters cheering on their Gladiators.

It's a place where memories are made, where young riders can develop their talents, and where the passion for motorcycle speedway lives on.

We don't want 2026 to be the final chapter in Plymouth Speedway's story.

We want to see the tapes rise again in 2027 — and for many years to come.

How You Can Make a Difference

Every donation, large or small, will help us move closer to our £46,000 target.

Whether you can spare £5, £10, £50 or more, your contribution will make a genuine difference.

And even if you can't donate, you can still help enormously by sharing this campaign with friends, family, fellow speedway supporters and local businesses.

We are also keen to hear from businesses interested in supporting the club through sponsorship and advertising opportunities, including advertising on the new safety fences, around the stadium, on our website and through our app.

A Lasting Tribute to Our Supporters

If we successfully raise the funds and secure the future of racing at Plymouth, we'd love to create a permanent Wall of Gladiators at the Coliseum.

This would feature messages from supporters who helped make it possible, recognising the incredible community that came together when the club needed them most.

It won't matter how much someone donated. What matters is that they stood with Plymouth Speedway.

Together, We Can Keep Plymouth Racing

We know times are difficult, and we don't take anyone's generosity for granted.

But we've seen time and again what the speedway community can achieve when it comes together.

Now we're asking supporters across Plymouth, Devon, Cornwall and the wider speedway world to stand with us.

Please donate whatever you can, share our appeal, and help us ensure that the roar of speedway engines continues at the Coliseum in 2027.

Our club. Our community. Our future.

Once a Gladiator, always a Gladiator.

Thank you for your support.
