Help Save Pinball Pete's

Hello and Happy Holidays to all that find this post!

We have been blessed to be a reliable part of the communities and families of East Lansing and Ann Arbor for over forty years and hold dear every moment and smile that we have shared with arcade lovers all over Michigan.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce a fundraiser for our long time family business Pinball Pete's. The whole world has fallen on hard times during this last year, small businesses especially, and we are no exception to that fact.

Though times are always changing and trends come and go, arcades are an important part of history and culture in our world and we have always done our best to adapt to change in order to keep the passion for arcades alive.

We are now asking for help from the friends, families, and communities that have helped to shape what Pinball Pete's is today. I still love to hear the stories of first dates, exciting birthdays, or late college nights spent in Pinball Pete's, and we can only hope that those traditions and special days continue to be shared under our roof.

We are open to any and all donations. Anything that you can do is greatly appreciated, you will never truly understand the impact that you all have had on our lives, and we can only hope that we have had a positive impact on yours as well. These donations are going to be used in order to pay for rent and utilities as we currently do not have the capitol to offset these costs.

We are going to be opening the stores in limited capacity, right now it is difficult to find staffing for the stores, but we will let you all know on Facebook when we are open so that you can come back and have some relief from the day to day lockdown blues. If you are able to come to the store, business is as usual, games are playable, prizes are available, and merchandise can still be purchased.

All of that being said, we did want to take this opportunity to at least offer something in return. We  have decided to create multiple tiers for some items in return, to thank you all for your generosity.

You are more than welcome to participate in multiple tiers if you feel that you would like the rewards from any of them. Please send us your donation information as well as mailing address as a message here on GoFundMe through the “Contact” section so that we can work on fulfilling your rewards!

$1, $10, $20, $50- Everything helps, if you provide us your name we will create a post with all donators on our Facebook page to show that you helped to save Pete's!

$75- Pinball Pete's t-shirt: While supplies last! We have several sizes and colors available, please let us know your size and preferred color and we will be sure to communicate fulfillment timelines with everyone. Current colors are pink, yellow, orange, white, black, gray. We will also include you in our Facebook page post.

$125- Limited Edition Tie-Die Pinball Pete's t-shirt: While supplies last! There are far fewer of these shirts available, and it was an idea we were playing with before the initial shut down. Please let us know your size and we will be sure to communicate fulfillment timelines with everyone. We will also include you in our Facebook page post.

$200- Limited Edition "I Saved Pinball Pete's" t-shirt: While supplies last! A new shirt that we are creating just for this fundraiser. Similar to our tried and true design, with a few special designs for those of you willing to help this much! We will also include you in our Facebook page post.

$500- Name on the Wall, and Owner Meet and Greet: While spots last! Over the years the owners have been present working in the stores and have loved interacting with all of you, many of you know them by name! This is an opportunity to hang out with them, talk about your favorite games, the arcades history, and just relive some of your memories in the store. We will also be putting your name on the wall in our store in a new "High Scores" section. We will make a post about when/and which location the Meet and Greet will be. We will also include you in our Facebook page post.

No matter how much you can help us, we want to thank you all for your continued support over the years. The arcade has always been about bringing joy and great experiences to peoples lives, and we are happy to hear that we have achieved this. We hope to continue spreading joy and racking up high scores through Michigan for years to come!
