My cat, Philos, is more than just a pet—she is my constant companion and a source of comfort through some of the hardest times in my life. Right now, Philos is facing a life-threatening medical emergency. She has a blocked urinary tract, and the vet has told me that without immediate hospitalization, including a catheter and IV, she may not survive the next 24-48 hours. Today, I spent my last few hundred dollars at the vet trying to get her the care she needs, but the costs are overwhelming.

This situation is especially difficult because I am still recovering financially after being assaulted and having my shoulder broken last August. Philos has been by my side every step of the way, spending more than half her day cuddled up next to me and helping me heal. The thought of losing her simply because I can't afford her treatment is heartbreaking. The vet says her care will require several days in the hospital, and I am doing everything I can to raise the funds needed to save her life.
