My name is Serima Matanisiga, and I'm reaching out with a mother's plea for help for my beloved son, Phillip Roger Matanisiga. Philip is only 26 years old and has been diagnosed with Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) - a serious condition that has severely damaged his heart valves. Doctors has advised that he needs a valve replacement surgery to save his life.

Philip has always been a hardworking and humble young man. He is a qualified chef who has worked in well-known resorts across Fiji and the Pacific, using his passion and talent to build a better future for his young family. Sadly, due to his worsening condition, he can no longer work. He struggles to breathe, has chest pain and swelling caused by the heart failure. He is also a devoted husband and a loving father to two children - a 6-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son - who need their father to be around as they grow up. As a mother, it is deeply painful to watch my son go through this. We are doing everything we can, but the cost of the surgery, travel and medical recovery is far beyond what we can afford. I am humbly asking for your support - through donations, prayers, or even sharing this page - to help us give Philip a second chance at life. Every little bit brings us closer to saving his heart and his future.
