If you know our brother Peter, you know he’s the kind of person who never asks for help—he’s always the one putting others first. But now, he’s in a place where he truly needs us.

Since January, Peter has been out of steady work due to debilitating pain that’s made it nearly impossible for him to stand, let alone work. After months of suffering, countless unanswered questions, and being pushed aside by the healthcare system due to being uninsured, Peter was recently diagnosed with severe peripheral neuropathy—a painful and progressive nerve condition.

Many of you have been asking how he’s doing, and sadly, the update isn’t good.

What makes this even harder is that Peter has been carrying this burden silently. After losing the love of his life, he threw himself into making sure she was cared for, all while ignoring his own pain. He didn’t want to complain or ask for anything—he just pushed through. But that quiet strength has come at a cost. His condition has now advanced, affecting his feet, legs, and beginning to impact his hands. Without proper treatment, he’s at serious risk of losing mobility—or even his legs.

Peter is determined to fight back. He’s fully committed to changing his lifestyle to support nerve health and slow the progression. But the reality is that the treatments, referrals, devices, and day-to-day expenses are overwhelming—and all of them require upfront payments.

He has finally found a primary care doctor who’s sent him to the right specialists, including a neurologist and gastroenterologist, but those appointments come with price tags too. He wants to get better. He wants to work again. But he can’t do it alone.
