Hello!

My name is Bern, and I’m the mom of two sweet dogs, Red and Pepper. As an immigrant in the U.S., life hasn’t always been easy, but my dogs have been my home, my comfort, and my joy. Even while unemployed, I’ve done everything I can to give them a safe, loving life.

Pepper’s journey has been especially meaningful. We rescued her from a situation where she wasn’t safe, and watching her heal and trust again has been one of the most beautiful parts of my life. Now she needs emergency surgery for “open pyometra” and we’re facing a cost we simply can’t meet alone. We were quoted $9k to perform the emergency surgery, which is something we do not have. I’m reaching out to this community with hope in my heart, praying we can come together to save her.
