My Great Dane, Pepper, is a gentle giant and a beloved member of our family. Recently, she developed a mysterious fluid buildup around her organs, and despite my best efforts, we still don’t know what’s causing it. I’ve already spent a significant amount on tests, labs, and vet visits, but Pepper now needs even more advanced diagnostics, including a CT scan, just to figure out what’s wrong. If we get answers, she may also need surgery and ongoing treatment.

This has been an incredibly difficult time for us. Pepper is not just a pet—she’s a loving companion to our 8-year-old son and a source of joy for our whole family. The mounting costs have forced me to make heartbreaking decisions, weighing her diagnosis and care against our family’s financial health.

The funds raised will go directly toward Pepper’s diagnostic tests, medication, anesthesia, and surgery. Because she’s a Great Dane, every procedure is even more expensive. I don’t want to lose her, and my family would never be the same without her. If you’re able to support this GoFundMe, we would be deeply grateful. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing Pepper’s story with any animal lovers you know. Your kindness and support mean the world to us.
