Help Save Penny's Leg: Urgent Surgery Fund

Hello, I'm Rachel, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my younger brother's beloved Italian greyhound, Penny. Today, Penny suffered a break to her front leg (which she has previously broken and had fixed) in a freak accident whilst in my care, and without surgery, she faces the possibility of amputation. Unfortunately, this break is not covered, and amputation would significantly impact her quality of life.

My brother, in his early 20s and partially sighted, has limited funds. We're desperately seeking support to afford the surgery that will save Penny's leg. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and help Penny continue her happy & goofy life.

EDIT: To assure you that this is a genuine plea for help, I have added a picture of the vet's bill from today 18/01/24,

the day of the accident, outlining the costs for Penny's initial hospitalisation, sedation, x-rays, and painkillers. The vets have verbally estimated £3,000 for the fix and I am told we will get the final cost after surgery is complete, as well as estimates for the post-op care, check ups, X-rays and medication. Family are donating and we’re trying to pull together what we can. The surgery is being arranged for asap next week, so it’s a race against time! Your trust and support are deeply appreciated.
