Yesterday, our sweet rescued Golden Doodle Penny Pickles was rushed to the emergency vet with severe pneumonia. She was placed in an oxygen incubator and given intensive care overnight, but her condition hasn’t improved.

This morning, the vet shared heartbreaking news — Penny now needs even more critical care, including an oxygen tube, to have a chance at recovery.

The cost for just the first day of emergency treatment was over $2,000, which Maddie, her loving human, and a few close friends have already covered. But now the vet is asking for another $5,000 to continue treatment and give Penny a real shot at healing.

Penny is not just a pet — she’s a rescue with a big heart, a quirky spirit, and so much life ahead of her. Maddie has done everything she can, but she can’t do this alone.
