My mom’s dog Peanut is more than just a pet—she’s family. Recently, Peanut was pregnant and needed a c-section. After the surgery, things took a turn for the worse: Peanut’s sutures came undone at home, and her intestines started to come out. My mom rushed her to the emergency vet (VMC), where they learned Peanut needed emergency surgery to survive.
