Hi, my name is Linh. I'm an international student in Canada and I’ve been raising Peaches, my first cat, for the past 6 years. He has been with me through every challenge, every moment of homesickness, and every step of my journey far from home.
Recently, Peaches suddenly started bleeding heavily from his urinary tract. I rushed him to the emergency vet, and after hours of testing, including bloodwork, urinalysis, X-rays, ultrasound, and fluid analysis, the doctors found that his kidneys were badly damaged. He is now hospitalized for at least 3 days under intensive care.
Due to the urgency of the situation and my current financial hardship, I’m humbly asking for help.
My work permit has expired, and while waiting for new documents to be processed, I am legally unable to work in Canada. Peaches has always been healthy, so I never thought I’d need pet insurance, something I now deeply regret. He is currently at Atlas Animal Hospital in Vancouver, BC.
So far, I’m responsible for nearly $3,000 in medical costs, and this amount may increase depending on Peaches’ recovery. I’ve attached photos and records from the veterinary hospital to show full transparency.
Every dollar and every share means the world to us. I never imagined I would have to ask for this, but I love Peaches more than anything. If you can help us get through this, I would be forever grateful.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Linh & Peaches
