Hi everyone...
We never thought we’d be in this position, but we’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits.
Pawfect Playdays has always been more than just a business. It’s a safe and happy space where dogs play, learn and feel loved. It is also where our community comes together. From welcoming SEN students for work experience, to supporting Pets as Therapy and even to fostering dogs in need…..everything we do is rooted in love, compassion, and care.
Unfortunately, we’ve recently been hit with unexpected, backdated business rates that do not reflect the reality of our small business’s monthly income. The rates are based on square footage (not our actual earnings) and the financial demand that’s landed on us is simply impossible to meet on our own. These costs aren’t just a one-time thing and they will be ongoing. We are hoping we can find a way to pay off these debts and keep going - with as much support as possible!
Our goal right now is to raise enough to stay open. Daycare prices will have to be adjusted to meet the ongoing charges, but if we can make a dent in the backdated debt, we stand a good chance of pulling through this. Our priority is making sure our amazing clients and their beloved dogs stay with us on this journey. This community means the world to us and we want to keep giving back in every way we can.
If you’ve ever brought your dog to us, shared a kind word, or seen the joy our pups bring to each other then please consider donating, sharing, or simply sending some encouragement our way. Every little bit helps, and every act of support reminds us why we started this in the first place.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for believing in Pawfect Playdays.
With love and gratitude,
The Pawfect Playdays Team
