Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart and asking for help I never imagined we'd need. Our beloved cat Patch, who just turned 1 year old, is fighting for her life right now after a traumatic accident.

Patch is more than just a pet – she’s part of our family. She’s a sweet, gentle girl with the most loving nature. She has an incredible bond with our two young children – they’ve grown up with her, and the connection they share is something truly special.

On June 22nd, 2025, Patch came home in a terrifying state. She was completely covered in blood, with a swollen lip and what looked like a serious injury to her tongue. It was horrific to see her like that – scared, shaking, and in so much pain. We rushed her to the vet the next day for an emergency appointment.

The vet gave her two pain relief injections which helped her manage a little milk, but it was clear she was still in immense discomfort. After examining her, the vet told us the heartbreaking news: Patch has a fractured jaw, and her canine tooth has been forced out of place due to the trauma. The vet believes she was either hit by a car or attacked by a dog.

She now needs a complex and urgent operation to repair the fracture and relieve her pain. Right now, she’s terrified and barely eating. Watching her suffer is absolutely devastating.

We’ve exhausted what we can financially, and we’re left with an unthinkable choice: either raise the money for her surgery or face putting her to sleep. This is our last resort – and we’re not ready to say goodbye. She means the world to us, especially to our kids.

That’s why we’ve set up this GoFundMe. We’re asking from the bottom of our hearts: please help us save Patch. Even the smallest donation would mean everything to us and bring us one step closer to giving her the second chance she deserves.
