Help Save Parsnip From FIP
Donation protected
Hello everyone! Meet Parsnip, my 11 month old cat! She loves cuddles, waking me up at 4 am to feed her, and playing with her toys! She's my entire world, but in late February, she got extremely sick and was unfortunately diagnosed with FIP, Feline Infectious Peritonitis, a lethal rare viral disease with no official cure.
An experimental drug called GS-441524 has been shown to succeed in treating the disease in clinical trials done by UC Davis; however, the treatments are expensive (roughly $45 a day) and have to be done continually for 12 weeks straight. In addition to the required blood testing to monitor her condition and various vet visits, the total cost for her treatment will be about $5000. The disease is 100% fatal without treatment, but I believe Parsnip is worth every penny.
Any and all donations are very appreciated and will go towards her medication and vet care. If you are willing to give or share, anything helps. Me and Parsnip thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
