Help Save Paolo! Donate to his cancer treatment

Paolo is pure unconditional love. We have been together for about 11 years now. He deserves to live the rest of his best years happy and free from suffering. Last month during a routine checkup a doctor found a tumor in Paolo's anal gland - adenocarcinoma. If left untreated it will continue to grow and cause his a lot of pain and eventually cause the inability to poop. The cancer will also spread to his lymph nodes and possibly his lungs. I can't bare to let him suffer like that.

The veterinary expenses are a lot. The CT Scan itself to see if he can even be operated on is around $2800. The surgery to remove the cancer costs around $6400+...in the end I expect it to cost around $10k. I am reaching out to various organizations that offer grants to help cover vet costs. I will also be hosting a fundraiser music event possibly at the Wag Bar in Asheville. If I have to I will apply for CareCredit and take on the debt.
