Help Save Panchito

Hello Everyone,

My name is Magali I am writing this on behalf of my mom who is  very devastated and hasn't been able to put into words what she is going through given the circumstances of yesterdays event.  

My mom was getting ready to leave to run errands and per usual she always brings our Chihuaha Panchito with her everywhere she goes as long as shes able to (my sister and I jokingly say she loves him more than us,that's her baby). He was really excited about going for his usual car rides with mama and went to get in the car, little guy knows his routine. Unfortunately before my mom even realized it her neighbors large dog was outside and Panchito was attacked.  She did all she could to try and get the neighbors dog off Panchito but couldn't fast enough until she was able to get the ring of the dogs "choke" collar and pull him off. As Panchito's life hung in the balance my mother and little sister rushed him to our nearby emergency clinic. Upon arriving to SPEC and checking him in to see how severe his injuries were we were informed that he was going to need immediate surgery. Panchito suffered several hernias, intestinal rupture and a bruised liver. We were finally able to bring him home the vet said he is stable but not out of the woods the next few days will be critical. We are doing our best to help him through his recovery from the comfort of our home.

The funds we are seeking to raise will help pay for Panchito's life saving surgery, veterinary bills, and medication. Ideally  we would like to raise the funds within the next couple of weeks to pay for the upcoming veterinarian follow up visits and the medications that he will need. Panchito has been in our family for such a long time and has brought so much joy to all of us he simply is one of our family members. If you've personally had the chance to meet him you've had the pleasure of seeing what a sweet soul he is , even when he gets sassy when you wake him from his naps all he wants is you to love on him. It breaks my heart that I am writing this to you as I am unable to physically be with my family during this hardship due to the larger crisis the country is facing in COVID-19. I know that now more than ever we need each other and I am asking for help in this manner because its all we as a family have left. I love him so much and if we are unable to get this money we may not be able to pay for his medication and follow up visits.
