Help Save Pancakes Life

I hate to put this out there, I really do, but I need to ask for help. This help can be ANY way. It can be sharing this page, donating $5, whatever it may be.. it would truly be a world of help. I’ve donated and shared many of these, but didn’t think I would come across the time of reaching out on my own behalf.
Those of you that know me, know the deep compassion I have for all animals and some of you know the heartbreak that I have unfortunately been through with my own in the past.
Those that aren’t familiar, here is a quick backstory……… My first cat Elvis, who I was convinced was part dog, was 16 years old when cancer consumed his body and we had to say goodbye. I grew up with Elvis and he was more than just a cat to me, he was my best friend. After we lost him, I waited 5 years before my heart was stolen by a kitten named Felix. Felix was only a year old when a veterinarian made a fatal mistake, killing him. Yes, you read that correctly. It was absolutely devastating. I swore that I was not going to get another cat…. 2 years later, I met Pancake.

Pancake is the perfect combination of Elvis and Felix, it’s unreal. We jokingly called him Felvis around the house. I decided to adopt him after I convinced myself that nothing was going to happen to him…..
I was wrong.

Pancake has been diagnosed with F.I.P. – Feline infectious peritonitis. FIP is fatal in almost all cases. Supportive treatments may extend longevity and import quality of life, however, there is no specific cure. There is however, an experimental drug called Mutian that is actually curing cats with FIP. The cost of treatment is very very pricey, and although there is no guarantee it will work for Pancake, I have seen the incredible results in other cats and my mom has seen results first hand in a client’s cat that was in very bad shape.

So long story that still ended up being pretty long is I’m here asking for help because I cannot give up on this little guy. I also cannot afford this treatment on my own. I plan to be working my butt off between grad school which is tough and work, so any type of help would mean the world. I cannot lose Pancake.
Please consider helping save my best friend. I know some may say that he is just an animal, but he greets me when I come home every day, sleeps with me every night, and follows me around day in and day out. He is literally my best friend and the most loving cat. He's the cat that people who "don't like cats" meet and instantly fall in love with him. Please consider helping me save him.
