Help Save Ozzy – Our Beloved Cat Needs Urgent Medical Care

04/14 UPDATE: Ozzy unfortunately did not make it through the night. His official diagnosis ended up being bobcat fever, also known as cytauxzoonosis. Please do your research on this horrible and fatal disease if you have a cat to keep them safe but most importantly, ALIVE!

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help. My sweet cat Ozzy has suddenly fallen very ill. After rushing him to the vet, we learned he’s accumulated a dangerously high amount of fluid in his lungs and around his heart. He’s now in critical condition and needs further diagnosis, treatment, and likely an extended hospital stay.

Ozzy is more than just a pet to us; he’s family. Onyx and I love him dearly, and we are heartbroken seeing him struggling to breathe and so unlike himself. It has been absolutely devastating.

The costs of his care are climbing quickly—emergency visits, diagnostics, treatments, and hospitalization are already overwhelming. If you’re able to contribute anything, no matter how small, it would mean the world. Even just sharing this page can help us reach someone who might be able to support.

Ozzy has so much life and love left to give. Please help us give him the chance to fight through this.
