Help Save Oussama’s Life – Emergency Brain Surgery in Morocco

Oussama Bourouch, a 24-year-old young man from Morocco, suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke (AVC hémorragique) caused by a ruptured cerebral arteriovenous malformation (AVM) in mid-September 2025.

He was initially admitted unconscious to the Clinique Internationale d’Agadir and has since remained in intensive care (Réanimation) under the supervision of Dr. Kerzaz Rachid (Anesthesiologist) and Dr. Abouzaid / Dr. Ait Moulay (Laboratory and Surgery Team).

Oussama underwent several emergency procedures to stabilize his condition and is now awaiting a critical neurosurgical intervention to prevent further brain damage and give him a chance to recover basic neurological functions.

His family has already sold personal belongings and borrowed money to cover previous hospital bills, but they have now run out of resources and face another urgent payment deadline to continue his treatment.

⸻

Medical & Financial Timeline
• 12 Sept 2025: First admission after sudden loss of consciousness (Taroudant Hospital).
• 13–15 Sept 2025: MRI confirmed hemorrhagic stroke due to ruptured AVM.
• 15–24 Sept 2025: Transferred to Clinique Internationale d’Agadir (Akdital Group) for intensive care and angiography.
• 24 Sept – 08 Oct 2025: Multiple invoices totaling over 94,000 MAD (€8,700) already paid in several parts by family and friends.
• 09–13 Oct 2025: Updated cost estimate for continued hospitalization, medication, and surgical intervention: 27,052 MAD (€2,500).

This amount must be covered immediately to keep Oussama in intensive care and enable the next phase of surgery and post-operative rehabilitation.
