Help Save Our Sweet Lucinda, she’s Fighting for Her Life!

Our beloved baby girl (yes, she’s a dog but she’s my baby) Lucinda is fighting for her life, and we are desperate for answers and for help.

Just a few days ago, Lucinda was her usual vibrant, goofy, tail-wagging self. She’s only 7 years old, still full of life, love, and energy. She means the world to our family and especially to her doggy brother, who hasn’t stopped looking for her since she was rushed to the hospital.

It started with sudden lethargy. At first, we thought maybe she was just having an off day. But things quickly spiraled. Lucinda began vomiting, had severe diarrhea, refused to eat or drink, and started having trouble breathing. Her heart rate has been erratic. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where she remains hospitalized, undergoing test after test.

Despite everything they’ve done so far, the doctors still don’t know what’s wrong. Every hour she’s away from us feels like an eternity.

We already lost one of our dogs just last year, and the pain of that loss still feels unbearable. We can’t imagine losing Lucinda too. She’s more than a pet, she’s our family, our comfort, our light during dark times. She’s the gentle soul who cuddles up to us when we’re hurting, and now she’s the one who needs help.

The medical bills are already overwhelming, and they continue to climb as more testing and care is needed to keep her alive. We are doing everything we can, but we simply cannot do it alone.
