The Heart of Our Community is Under Threat

For years, our sanctuary and farm has been a labor of love, dedicated to protecting animals especially domestic parrots, We have always strived to be good neighbors, stewards of the land, and a positive fixture in this community.

Unfortunately, we are facing an unexpected and devastating challenge. A neighboring property owner has initiated legal action against us, claiming that the mere presence of our farm is lowering their property value although we are already located in an agricultural area.

Why We Are Fighting Back!

Farms/Agricultural land are the backbone of our communities, but rising legal pressures put independent operations like ours at risk. We are fully zoned and licensed, properly managed, and operating entirely within our rights, but defending ourselves against a formal legal challenge requires costly representation.

How Your Donation Helps

Every single dollar raised through this campaign will go directly into a dedicated legal defense fund. These funds will be used for:

Retaining experienced DeLand based legal counsel.

Covering court costs, filing fees, and representation.

Securing independent property appraisals and expert testimony to prove our farm/sanctuary is a benefit—not a detriment—to the area.
