Help Save Our Puppy "Midnight"
Donation protected
Hi Everyone!
We’re Audrey and Makayla (and Dad!) and we’re in 1st and 2nd grade (not Dad - he’s old!).
On the last day of summer, our Dad surprised us with a trip to the local animal shelter “just to look!”
As soon as we walked in we saw the cutest, most adorable little puppy and immediately named him “Midnight.” He even had a little white spot on his chest that looked like a moon!
Even Dad fell in love the second he saw him. That day, Midnight came home with us and became part of our family.
Bringing him home was awesome. We gave him a tour of the house, took him on walks to meet our friends, and started teaching him tricks. He loved his new toys, and especially loved his new treats!
We were sad to leave Midnight on the first day of school. But we were so happy to see Midnight waiting for us when we got off the bus, and he ran and gave us kisses!
But after a few days, Midnight wasn’t feeling well. He had a really bad tummy ache and he wasn’t eating the treats that he loved so much.
Daddy said he might have worms in his belly. EWW!!! So we took him to the puppy hospital to get medicine.
When we got there, the puppy doctors said he had a super scary virus called Parvo that makes puppies really sick.
Audrey: “Please don’t send him to China!”
Makayla: “No Audrey, it’s Asia”
Dad: “No girls, it's euthanasia. And don't worry, we'll figure this out.”
So we left Midnight in the hospital and everyday we called the puppy doctors to see how he was doing. We didn't know if he was going to make it!
He was super tough and super strong, but the medicine he needed was super expensive - like ginormously expensive. Daddy said it was so expensive that we needed to spend money we didn’t even have! Kinda super confusing, right?!
So we started thinking of things we could do to pay for Midnight’s medicine… We could start a lemonade stand (but that’s a lot of lemons). We could sell all of our toys (which was definitely Dad’s favorite idea).
Audrey: “Isn’t there a place on the internet where people make donuts for money for people who are sick or something?”
Dad: “You mean donations - yes!”
So we’re making a GoFundMe page to Help Save Our Puppy Midnight!

To say thank you to everyone who donates, we’ll be making super special artworks to send in the mail! And every year, we’ll make a super awesome Christmas card to send everyone so they can watch Midnight grow up!
Dad: “We should make him a “$12K” pennant for his collar”
Makayla: “Not a K! Make it with an M!”
Dad: “Honey, $12M means the dogs go to China!”

Thank You in Advance for Your Love and Support!
If you're unable to donate but would still like to support Midnight, please share this page with as many people as possible!
