Dear Key West Community,

Spoil Me Rotten Salon and the Island Beauty Foundation of the FL Keys have worked tirelessly to support the Key West Beauty Academy. Our family-run business has been more than just a salon—it has been a place where local students could achieve their dream of becoming professional cosmetologists right here in our own community. We’ve been able to offer scholarships, provide a discounted education, and give back in ways we hoped would strengthen the future of Key West.

However, despite our efforts, the time has come where we can no longer keep the doors open without the help of our community. The licensing fees for the academy are now due, and with the added costs of accounting and operational expenses, we are facing a very real possibility of closing our doors for good.

The beauty academy is the only one within 150 miles of Key West. Without it, many locals will be forced to leave town or forgo their dreams of learning a technical trade. We’ve had students who want to enroll but simply can’t afford it, and that is why we are reaching out to YOU—the heart of our community—for help.

We need to raise $5,500 for licensing and accounting fees. We can’t do this alone. If you believe in the power of education and want to help keep this resource alive for future generations, we ask that you step up and support us in any way you can.
