I started my family business in early 2018, just before Covid changed everything. We’ve always focused on providing friendly service and authentic Thai food to our neighbors, and it’s been a joy to connect with so many people in our community. But the past few years have been incredibly tough. Covid hit us hard, and in 2025, I faced health issues that made running the business even more difficult. On top of that, we’ve been broken into twice, and recently, several pieces of equipment failed—two refrigerators, our freezer, ice machine, and just a few weeks ago, our water heater.
Now, we’re struggling to stay afloat, especially with unpaid rent and bills piling up. Our landlord has been kind enough to give us some time, but it’s been months since we last paid him. The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward replacing broken equipment and catching up on rent and bills, so we can keep serving our community and stay open for the people who rely on us.
One thing this business has taught me is to appreciate the little things in life. An interaction with a customer can make your day, and the support we’ve received over the years means so much to me. I truly appreciate everyone who has helped us, and I hope one day I can repay that kindness and pay it forward. If you’re able to support us now, it would mean the world to my family and me.
Best,
Dream
