My name is Alonzo, and I am a disabled veteran who has dedicated my life to caring for animals in need. I operate a mini pig sanctuary that is home to 11 mini pigs, 10 cats, 2 chickens, and 1 dog. My wife and I have poured our hearts into creating a safe and loving environment for these animals, many of whom have nowhere else to go.

Recently, the rising cost of living has overwhelmed our finances. Despite our best efforts, we are now facing the threat of foreclosure on our home and have received disconnect notices from the electric companies. It’s a frightening and humbling experience, but I am determined to do everything I can to keep our sanctuary running and our family together.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward caring for the animals—providing food, shelter, and medical care—as well as helping us catch up on critical bills to keep our home and sanctuary safe.
