Thank you to everyone who helped us reach our goal of €1500. This has made it possible to pay off the family’s debt to the hospital, which had prevented the patient from being taken off the mechanical ventilator. He still has a long way to go, so donations are still greatly appreciated!

We are Medical volunteers at Kabanga Referral Hospital in Tanzania. This is our 25-year-old patient, suffering from supposedly Tetanus after being bitten by a dog. Five days ago, we had to admit him to the Intensive Care Unit, as he requires a mechanical ventilator due to his inability to breathe on his own. His condition is critical, and without immediate, ongoing treatment, he will not survive. His father is doing everything he can to gather money, but unfortunately, he can no longer afford his son’s treatment.

The hospital bills are quickly piling up, and we can no longer provide financial support on our own. We are asking for your generosity to help give the financial assistance that our patient, his dad and his 3 year old son urgently need to continue the treatment. Every small contribution can make a difference. Please, help us give him the fighting chance he deserves.
