Dear Friends and Supporters,

Our village in Thailand was yesterday hit by severe flooding that has devastated multiple homes, including ours and those of our neighbours. The Kok River burst its banks and made it's way to our village, we spent all day trying to stop the water coming into the houses by using sandbags, but in the end we had to leave before we all became trapped into the village. The floodwaters have caused extensive damage, leaving our homes uninhabitable and our families in urgent need of assistance.

We are reaching out to you with a humble request for help as we work to clean up, rebuild, and restore our community. Many families have lost their belongings, some have lost their pets, essential household items, and of course the ability to live in their homes. There are also many elderly neighbours some of whom are sick in desperate need of your help. The recovery process will take time and resources that are beyond what we can manage on our own.

How Your Donations Will Help:

All funds raised will go directly toward supporting the recovery and rebuilding efforts in our village. Specifically, your donations will be used for:

Cleaning Up the Flood Damage: Removing debris, drying out the homes, and cleaning up the extensive water damage caused by the flooding.

Rebuilding Structures: Repairing walls, floors, and roofs that have been damaged or destroyed, making homes safe and livable again.

Restoring Essential Utilities: Repairing electrical, plumbing, and water systems that have been affected by the floods.

Replacing Lost Belongings: Providing support to the other families who have lost furniture, appliances, and other essential household items.

Temporary Housing and Supplies: Assisting with temporary housing costs and basic necessities such as food, clothing, and clean water while homes are being repaired.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a huge difference in helping us and our neighbours' families recover from this disaster. We appreciate any support you can give, whether it's through a donation or even sharing our story with others who may be able to help.

For now, all we can do is stay on higher ground, keep eachother safe, and pray that the water subsides soon. The village is completely surrounded by water since the river burst its banks.
