Hi, my name is Christina, and I’m writing this with a heart that is both hopeful and broken. My mom is my world. She has always been the one who shows up for everyone - the kind of woman who puts others first, even when she’s exhausted, even when life is hard. Right now, she is fighting for her life. My mom is currently critically ill and hospitalized in the ICU. Her health has declined, and she is unable to work or help financially in any way. Neither are we because we are focused on her survival and recovery. Unfortunately, we received a foreclosure notice on our home now. The weight of potentially losing the place she worked so hard for - especially during such a vulnerable time - has been devastating to say the least.

This home is more than just a house. It’s where my mom built the last couple of years of her life and poured so much love into. With her current medical condition, she cannot manage bills or contribute to mortgage payments, and I cannot carry this burden alone while also being by her side through this medical crisis. We are asking for help to cover urgent housing costs so we can keep our home while my mom fights to heal. Any donation, no matter the size (even a dollar goes a long way) would go directly toward preventing foreclosure and easing the financial stress during this incredibly painful chapter.
