Help Our Family Save Our Home During Medical Crisis

Last July, our lives changed overnight.

I was working full-time, doing everything I could to support my family and stay on top of our bills and mortgage. Then suddenly, I became critically ill. I was rushed to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed me with kidney failure. They told me that if I hadn’t gone to the hospital that afternoon, I likely would not have survived the night.

I spent two weeks hospitalized, undergoing seven blood transfusions and two major surgeries one to place a stent in my right kidney and another to insert a drain tube into my left kidney. Thanks to an incredible medical team, I survived. But the battle didn’t end there.

When I finally came home, I was too weak to return to work. As the weeks passed, the medical bills began piling up thousands of dollars in hospital expenses along with our mortgage and everyday living costs. We have worked so hard for our home, but now we are facing foreclosure.

I am scheduled for another surgery on February 4th and am determined to return to work as soon as my doctors allow. Until then, we urgently need help to keep our home and stay afloat.

• Catching up on our mortgage

• Paying hospital and medical bills

• Covering essential living expenses during recovery

Our home means everything to us and our pets. Losing it would be heartbreaking after everything we’ve already endured.
