Hi, my name is Jessica, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my grandma in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

She suffered two strokes and was in a government hospital, but they weren’t giving her the care she urgently needed. My cousin had to transfer her to a private hospital — Hospital Center Vista Hermosa — where she is finally getting proper treatment.

The first hospital bill is already $38,997.98 pesos (about $2,200 USD) and must be paid today by 5 PM (Mexico time). Unfortunately, this only covers her first day of care, and she will need more treatment in the coming days.

Our family in Mexico is doing everything possible, but the costs are overwhelming. All funds raised here will go directly to cover her hospital bills. Once the money is withdrawn to my U.S. account, I will send it immediately to my family in Mexico through Wise or Remitly so they can pay the hospital directly.
