In 2023, we were devastated to hear that our beloved father was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma, an aggressive cancer affecting the lymphatic system. It felt like we were losing the backbone that kept our family on its feet. Our father is a father of five girls and the provider for our family, including our loving mother, who endured months of nightmares sitting beside him for days on end through chemotherapy sessions, watching him fight for his life.

After enduring multiple rounds of chemotherapy, we were overjoyed when his scans came back clear. But just six months later, our worst fear became reality, his cancer returned at stage 4 once again. It felt as though our world had collapsed, and now, more than ever, we fear the thought of losing our dear father to this cruel disease.

This time, chemotherapy alone isn’t enough. To have the best chance at beating cancer and preventing another relapse, he urgently needs CAR-T cell therapy, an advanced treatment that doctors worldwide have recommended as his best hope for a relapse-free life (God willing).

However, this life-saving treatment comes at an overwhelming cost of €500,000, which includes the medication, hospital stay, and associated medical expenses. Currently, his condition requires the treatment to be started as soon as possible.

Without this procedure, his chances of remission are slim, and alternative treatments are not only less effective but still incredibly expensive. We are reaching out with hope and gratitude. Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to giving our father the chance to live cancer-free and return to the healthy, loving man we know. Our father is an old-school man that refuses much help and believes he should provide for us and not the other way round. So we decided to keep his identity anonymous to respect his boundaries.
