Our food sources and freedom of food choices are under vicious attack once again!
Amos is an Amish farmer at Miller's Organic Farms in Pennsylvania, and he has been under intensive legal pressure from the federal government on and off since 2016.
Most recently, an official at the federal Justice Department is pressuring Amos to transport all his animals to remote abattoir processing centers. Amos would lose control of all his meat products, with no guarantee that the meat sent him is actually from his healthy grass-raised animals.
Meats in these processing centers are sprayed with citric acid and other preservatives. Most commercial citric acid is actually sourced from GMO molds, so our meat products would most likely be sprayed with GMOs at the abattoirs. We would lose the liver, kidney, and all the other organ meats and bone products, as these centers are not set up to handle them. That would mean no more bone broth or bone marrow, which many of us value and order for our children and families. If Amos loses too much of his product line, he would probably have to shut down.
Our farmer Amos uses the best of traditional Amish and modern practices in processing meat animals on his farm. His facilities are spotless. His meat products are packaged and refrigerated on the spot, with no delay.
A court hearing is scheduled for July 18th, 2019. In order to save OUR FARMER and OUR HEALTHY FOODS, we need financial resources to hire legal representation in these proceedings and strategize our best defense. PLEASE, donate NOW so we can mount the kind of tough legal challenge that is required to fend off these government assaults against our right to quality GMO-free, soy-free and organic grassfed foods from the farmers we know and respect.
