Help Save Our Family’s Small Town Gas Station

Donation protected
My wonderful parents own and operate a small gas station and convenience store in Tunnelton, West Virginia. This isn’t just a business to him— it’s his livelihood, our meeting place, and a part of our community.

My dad is a wonderful husband, father, pappy, and friend. He has so many titles.
If you know him or have talked to him you know how special he is. He has always been the kind of person who shows up for others and will help anyone without expecting anything in return. Whether it's helping someone who's short on gas money, staying open late for a neighbor in need or someone just needing a listening ear. He is constantly doing things behind the scenes for people who are struggling. He gives more than most people ever see and stays open late justto talk to his customers about Jesus. He has built this store not just with hard work, but with heart.

For over a year now, ongoing road construction directly in front of our store has made it incredibly difficult for customers to access us. At times, entrances have been blocked, parking has been taken up by construction equipment, and many people simply think we are closed because of how it looks from the road.

As a small, family-owned business, we rely on visibility and easy access. When customers can’t get in or don’t realize we’re open, it has a real and painful impact. This situation has caused a significant drop in business and has placed a heavy financial strain on our family.

We are doing everything we can to stay open. We are working with local officials and exploring every option available. But in the meantime, we are asking for help to get through this difficult season.

This store represents years of hard work, sacrifice, and service to our community. It’s more than shelves and gas pumps — it’s part of our family’s story.

If you are able to support us, whether through a donation or by sharing our story, we are deeply grateful. Every bit of support helps us keep the lights on and continue serving the community we love.

Thank you for standing with a local, family-owned business. This store is more than a business — it’s a place where people are treated like neighbors. I’m praying it can continue to be a light in our town.
