We’re freshmen in college, and our best friend is going through something no one should have to face. Her sweet dog, her lifelong companion and source of comfort, was recently diagnosed with cancer. What started as four small lumps turned out to be something much worse.

He’s an elderly dog, which makes his condition even more serious. The surgery that could save his life costs $20,000, something her family simply cannot afford. This dog has been with her through every stage of life, from childhood to now, always greeting her with love, loyalty, and comfort on her hardest days.

It’s heartbreaking to see her feeling so helpless, knowing that the only thing standing between her dog and a chance to live is money. We want to do everything we can to help her and her family get through this.
