Farewell to TANGO

Update

Hi everybody. I am so sad to tell you that we’ve had to put our beloved Tango down today. His injuries were too bad, his pelvis shattered and he was in so much pain. If he did survive, he’d have a life of discomfort, poor mobility and toilet issues. He will always be cherished by us and so many who knew him and adored him. Our lovely Forest Lodge neighbours, Glebe neighbours, and especially my kids and I. All the funds will pay for his care up to this date and I shall cover any remaining. Thank you all, and sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Thank you for all your contributions. I really hate having to reach out like this but I had no options. So much kindness.

Hi, my name is Sasha. I am raising funds to save the life of my family’s beloved cat, Tango.

Tango is 8 years old, a darling ginger brother to Yuki. He is my childrens comfort and support animal over many years of struggle. He is a most loving, sweet natured boy.

Last night, 12/05/25, he was run over in front of me. He sustained significant injuries and has broken his pelvis in three places.

He is currently recieving care at our nearest vet surgery. We are very hopeful he can heal and recover. There will be a significant time of recovery, 6-8 weeks. The option for surgery is far beyond my means and I would be so grateful for support towards his current care, at least a weeks stay in vet surgery, crated, monitoring, pain relief, IV fluids and other care. This would be so helpful as I cannot pay for this and my kids and I are are having to consider euthanasia, which is heartbreaking.
