We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support during a heartbreaking and urgent time for our family.
Our beloved 45-year-old sister-in-law, Komal, has been diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer, and doctors have given her just three months to live. As you can imagine, this news has devastated our entire family. She is a mother of four beautiful children, the youngest being just 11 years old. It's unbearable to witness her in constant pain, knowing that without intervention, her time with us may soon run out.
A Chance for More Time—The HIPEC Treatment
After countless hours of research and discussions with specialists, her daughters found a treatment that offers hope—HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy). HIPEC is a complex surgical procedure where visible tumors are removed, and heated chemotherapy is applied directly into the abdomen. It has shown positive outcomes, extending the lives of other patients in similar conditions.
However, this life-extending treatment is not widely available in Pakistan and comes with a high cost. We urgently need to raise £6,000 to cover the cost of HIPEC and her ongoing cancer treatment.
Any additional funds raised will go towards:
- Her post-treatment care
- Daily pain management
- Supporting her children's needs during this critical time
A Mother, A Wife, A Fighter
Before her diagnosis, she was a vibrant woman — full of love, strength, and kindness. She was the heart of her family, always putting others before herself. Today, she is bedridden, exhausted, and in constant pain. Her condition has worsened, and each day becomes more difficult — for her and for those around her.
Her husband is also struggling deeply. He is battling severe anxiety and depression after recently losing his younger sister, and now he is faced with the unimaginable possibility of saying goodbye to his wife as well.
We want to give this brave mother the chance to fight, to be there for her children, to see their milestones and dreams come true.
