I never imagined I would have to ask for help, but our little Shetland needs us now more than ever. He is currently in Hambleton Equine clinic.

We rescued him five years ago when he was in an extremely touch and go situation been malnourished and having liver problems, giving him a safe home and a second chance after a difficult start in life. Since then, he has become part of our family full of personality a spirit that has brought so much joy into our lives and others . We’ve spent thousands of pounds over the years to make sure he always had the care, love, and medical attention he deserved. We have never hesitated to do whatever he needed.

But now, he is facing a serious health crisis. And unfortunately I haven’t got any insurance to cover these type of costs. After multiple vet visits and tests, we’ve been told he may need surgery. Without it, his condition will continue to worsen, and the thought of losing him is absolutely heartbreaking. Watching him struggle and not understanding why he’s in pain has been incredibly hard.

Unfortunately, due to our current circumstances, we simply cannot afford the full cost of the surgery and aftercare on our own. We want to give him the very best possible chance, but we need help to do that. He trusted us when we rescued him, and we want to keep our promise to give him a safe, happy life.
