For the past two years, a sweet neighborhood cat by the name of Magic has made a home in our front yard. What started as a stray passing through quickly became a beloved member of our family. We have loved, fed, and cared for this animal every single day, and we have grown incredibly attached.

​Last week, our worst nightmare happened. Magic was attacked by two stray dogs and, in the chaos, ran away. We were devastated. He was missing for over a week, and we were terrified we would never see him again.

​Miraculously, we finally found Magic, but the relief was short-lived. He has suffered a severe fractured leg from the attack and is in urgent need of medical care. We immediately rushed Magic to the hospital, where we were told that the fracture repair surgery is desperately needed or his leg would need amputation.

​The total cost for the emergency services and surgery is coming out to $4,838. This is a sudden and overwhelming expense, but we cannot turn our back on an animal that has been part of our daily lives for years.

​We are asking for any help—no matter how small—to help us cover these medical bills and give this sweet cat the second chance at life it deserves.
