I’m really struggling to write this because I never imagined we’d ever be in this position… but tonight has been one of the hardest nights of our lives, and we genuinely need any help we can receive.
Our sweet little miniature heeler — our baby baby right before we had our actual baby, and now she’s her baby baby more! — well, we had to rush our baby girl to the emergency vet because, as many should know, she couldn’t deliver her puppies. She was in so much pain, so scared, and completely unable to push them out and gave up completely. The reason she’s even in this situation is because she and our male dog secretly had an affair (while we were stuck in the hospital, and so much more chaos they both got left out & you know they couldn’t be good for the hour before we caught them lol…. And yes, we had her IN LINE at snip to get fixed but they didn’t contact me back until a week after this was all said and done… so now I’m stuck here between a rock & a hard place.
The vet told us the only way to save her and the pups was to bring her in and have her via emergency C-section. We agreed immediately because losing her was not an option to us. She’s family. They told us to apply for the care credit blah blah blah, and well… because of no credit & a little low score, we have all been denied. Now that they have successfully done her surgery & weren’t able to save any of the pups because of labor problems that occurred, they then told us something that completely broke all of our hearts, that… they can’t even release her back to us or even allow us to see her until we have paid the whole down payment which is included in the pictures on here. And all while telling us that she is not undergoing surgery. As soon as we have the full payment paid, we will have contact/receive her back. It’s already going to make a huge impact on our little baby girl having to go with mom & dad after bedtime just to be a good human, & then receive nothing besides being told money is only going to get her back. I have tried everything else & this is the last thing many people know I would NEVER do. Even if you can’t make an impact on the bill, at least share in hoping that it touches somebody’s hand that will make something give. ♥️ Anything helps, & we appreciate every single penny, everyone who has been helping & even most trying to at least help. Home just doesn’t even feel right walking into anymore.
And the truth is… we just don’t have it.
We are already drowning in bills after welcoming our first beautiful daughter into the world recently — also through an emergency C-section, three weeks early. We’ve been trying so hard to stay strong, to give our newborn everything she needs, and now we’re facing another emergency we didn’t see coming.
We are emotionally and financially drained. We just want our sweet girl home, safe, warm, and recovering with us… but right now she’s sitting in a vet hospital waiting for us to come up with money we don’t have.
I’m embarrassed to ask this, but if anyone can help us — even the smallest amount — or just share this, it would mean everything to us. We are truly desperate to bring her home. She doesn’t deserve to be stuck there because of money.
