Help Save Orion. Emergency Vet Fund.

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help with an emergency vet visit for my beloved ferret, Orion.

Orion is 8 years old — which is considered a senior for ferrets — and until recently, he has always been healthy, playful, and full of personality. He's incredibly loving, gentle, and has brought so much joy and comfort to my life over the years.

But suddenly and alarmingly, Orion has lost a significant amount of weight, very quickly. It's deeply concerning, and due to his age, there’s a real fear it could be something serious like adrenal disease or cancer, both of which are sadly common in older ferrets.

I've already done what I can to monitor him at home, but at this stage, he urgently needs professional veterinary care — exams, diagnostics, possibly imaging, and medication. Unfortunately, the costs for emergency vet care add up quickly, and I’m not in a position to cover them all on my own.

I’m asking for £300 to help cover:

Emergency vet consultation

Bloodwork and diagnostics

Imaging (if needed)

Medications or treatments
