I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my sweet cat, Oreo. Recently, Oreo was diagnosed with lymphoma, and while the news has been incredibly difficult, there is hope. With the right treatment—including chemotherapy and medication—there’s a chance to get him into remission and give him more happy, healthy time.

Oreo is the best. He’s about 10–11 years old and found his way into my life almost nine years ago in Austin, TX. He showed up at my door nine times before I finally let him in—and I’ve been grateful ever since. From the moment he walked in, he’s been my heart and soul, my best friend, and my constant companion.

Oreo loves everyone. He’ll walk right up to strangers, give them a sniff, and ask to play. He’s a champion fetcher (with anything!), a lover of light reflections, a box enthusiast, and the ultimate cuddle buddy. He has a special spot in bed and sometimes refuses to give it up in the morning—and honestly, I don’t mind.

One of his quirks? He insists on drinking water from the sink. And when it comes to food, you’d better guard your plate—he’s been known to sneak a bite or two. He’ll even give you a high five if it means getting a treat!

But Oreo is so much more than a quirky, playful cat. He’s been there for me through everything. He’s my therapist, my companion, and my little shadow. The thought of losing him so soon is heartbreaking.

Treatment is expensive, and that's why I’m asking for help. Every donation—no matter how small—goes directly toward Oreo’s chemo, medication, and veterinary visits. My biggest hope is to get him into remission so he can continue doing all the things he loves (especially chasing lights and stealing snacks).
