My name is Amber and I have 5 kids all together. 3 of whom are at my house full time and 2 that we get visitation with. For my five-year-old daughter’s birthday we got her her very first puppy. My my daughter is nothing less than pure Bliss and deserved her a puppy. My daughter is autistic and was nonverbal until roughly a year ago. So she decided to name her puppy Oreo. Mr. Oreo has became her best friend along with all of my children. Oreo has been through some trauma, and we are trying to save him. He went to the vet on 2/25/2026 where we found out that both of his front paws were broken. He is going blind and we do not know if it is temporary or permanently. He also has some type of cognitive going on with his brain. He may have brain damage or it may be something else we are not for sure just yet. His first vet bill was over $400. He has to go back to the vet for a check up on 3/4/2026. With everything for his appointment on that day, it is going to be roughly $300. He also needs to see a specialist for his brain. At this time, I am not able to afford to send him to the specialist. I haven’t even been referred yet because they know that money is an issue. I just wanna save our family puppy so that my kids can wake up every day with the dog that they have fallen in love with. I am not wouldn’t ask for help, but I am desperate and I do not want to let my kids down. Oreo has became a member of our family and we are already devastated. Anything would help at this point. I am running out of options as I refuse to give up on him. Please keep him in your prayers. Send good vibes. Anything that will help. I know that times are tough for everyone.
