Oreo is my beloved cat and truly my best friend. Last Friday, I noticed something was wrong and rushed him to the vet, where they discovered he had a urinary tract blockage. He needed a catheter right away, but, he blocked again almost immediately. Oreo was hospitalized for three days, and despite everyone’s best efforts, he reblocked yet again. The only option left was emergency surgery—without it, I would have had to say goodbye to him far too soon.

Oreo has always been a healthy, happy cat, and the vets are confident that with this surgery, he has many wonderful years ahead. The costs for his hospital stay, surgery, and ongoing care are overwhelming, especially since I’m already managing a large amount of student loan debt as a therapist. I have spent my life trying to help people so I am now asking for some help. I’m doing everything I can to give Oreo the chance he deserves.
