Opal is my beloved pet, and recently she had a frightening accident—she got into the medicine cabinet and ingested Aleve and Aspirin. As soon as I realized what happened, I rushed her to the emergency vet within five minutes. The team acted quickly and induced vomiting, but to truly ensure her survival, Opal now needs more intensive emergency care.
The next 72 hours are critical for Opal. She may need dialysis, routine bloodwork, and possibly hospitalization to monitor her recovery and give her the best chance at a healthy future. The costs for these treatments are overwhelming, and I want to do everything possible to help her pull through.
Opal means so much to my son Ernie, who is about to turn 9. I want nothing more than to see them both happy and healthy again. I’m reaching out to friends, family, and anyone who loves animals—please, if you can, help save Opal. Any support you can give will go directly to her care and mean the world to both of us. Thank you for reading and for caring about Opal’s story.
