Oni is my one-and-a-half-year-old cat who has brought so much joy and comfort into my life. She’s a sweet, spontaneous companion who loves the outdoors, cuddling, and even playing in water. In the short time she’s been with me, Oni has helped me through some of my hardest days—sometimes she’s the only reason I smile.

Three days ago, I learned that Oni swallowed a foreign object that is now stuck in her small intestine. The only way to save her is through emergency surgery. Without it, the object could perforate her intestine at any moment, putting her in unbearable pain and risking her life. The thought of losing her is devastating, and I haven’t been able to stop crying since I found out. She means the world to me, and I can’t imagine my life without her.

Oni needs this surgery by Monday or sooner. If I can’t raise the funds in time, I’ll be forced to make an impossible decision.
